Well, there are about 10 times as many towns are there should be for a game of this size, so that doesn't help.

I'm no expert on Steamcharts, but those numbers don't seem terrible either. After the large drop-off from September-December, it appears the player base has stabilized and even increased a bit. While those numbers probably aren't good enough for long term success, they do indicate that the game is treading water for the moment.

It is still nowhere near acceptable ^^ I am glad they stopped the drop for now. But a future drop that is unavoidable can only be countered by increasing the player-base. I'd rather try to get actual backers back into it, than try to convince new users into it.

That's more difficult than to get new, fresh players, without concerns and "feelings about the past".
What they need is patience and people who are able to enjoy right now.
I can for my time and my goals ingame, but these are rather special.

Well as MMOs concern i don´t like steam.
I registered sota with steam but nothing more. I use the normal installer. Like it more. Don´t know why. Think there is not rely a logical reason.
Perhaps because of Linux-Philosophy ;-) One tool to do one thing right ;-)

I don't use Steam for SotA because I'm not going to have an extra piece of software running unless I have to.

Problem is for every time I do come back and look at the things that have change most of the changes are, in my opinion, not good changes. The changes that I'm waiting for are still not happening. I do not think this is going to be the end product I was thinking/hoping for when I spent over $2000.
