She likes to learn English and will know most SOTA linguistics because I will be attending her while she is ingame So, using English with her is OK, yet she does not understand many things about the game. If the ~Time Lord~ is not with her, she can follow along and hopefully quite well For now, she will only be accepting friends requests from her guild mates in the "Order of Chivalry" or in her hunting party Thank you all for your understanding this ~Time Lord~ & ~Pure Water~
Thank you for explaining. I look forward to seeing her in game. This is wonderful TimeLord. Welcome Pure Water to Shroud of the Avatar.
I am very happy that you felt this game and this humble comunity is worth that amount of effort. Thank you and Welcome to SOTA.
Playing games for us is never an effort and she doesn't understand what you just said But we're much more selfish than that.... "We play together because we enjoy playing with each other" The "Order of Chivalry" (true to their name) was the first guild to outreach knowing she couldn't speak English very well. Thus far she enjoys being interested in crafting, but she most enjoys the dance parties and SOTA fashion designs She's only recently been interested in where to find the crafting ingredients. What she enjoys most of crafting is in agriculture During our July telethon, we're buying one of "SOTA's Thai Lanna style homes" to set beside the planting fields we have located in "The Time Tunnel" (Underground POT) nested in "Wizards Rest". SOTA's Thai Lanna Style Elven Town Home... After posting for many years now with hopes of having such a style of home in our SOTA, you can surely see I did have my own motives "The family that games together, stays together" @Pure Water has been watching me play and be involved our game for a very long time now (since early 2014 when we lived together in Chiang Mai while I was attending school there) and now does most of "Nystal TimeLord's" crafting and shares almost half of his agriculture activities on our (currently) 3000+ plant farm. She still plays more "Candy Crush or FaceBook" than she plays SOTA, but that scale has recently tipped to the SOTA side in her gaming time. My own hopes are for us to buy a second computer which can handle SOTA, which will hopefully be less of a computer as the single one we have once our SOTA get's more optimized, hopefully during the coming year. We are actually looking for a house close to where we live which is in this same home style which is not too far away from the rest of our family here in Thailand, but most are on farms a bit too far away from the city. I have designed her own character build with ease of play in mind, by having her use a character skill set which accommodates a player who wants less buttons to push until she learns or wants to do more, which is the main subject of this post. Currently she can hit 3 defense buttons and use auto strike. Once her button skills (or interest in them) increases, I'll unlock her other more aggressive damaging skills which should fill in quite quickly because of the speed her character has... (which is also a good plan for anyone with small children who would want, or be allowed to play in SOTA) "But that's this SOTA family's plan" ~Pure Water~&~Time Lord~
Welcome @Pure Water !!! It has been pleasure to meet you in game. I am looking forward to see you soon

Welcome Pure Water. "How I Got My Little-English-Speaking Girl Friend to Play SOTA" will be a great addition!
Well ... Thus far there have been increasing glimmers of hope within this endeavor ... as she does read or have read to her everyone's encouragement She thus far does like hunting... "sometimes" in the single skull level areas, but also seems to like the way... "The Time Tunnel's Agricultural Elven Forced Labor Camp" has been taking shape over these past few weeks ... * the following pictures were smuggled out of the area courtesy of @Stella Moon * With a 4000 to 5000 planting capacity spread over 3 village and 2 town lots, I've been working on building she and I a "SOTA Farmville Extreme" !' Then I'll try getting her interested in some of the local fishing as well when our game becomes what it always needed to be, Many games all in one and fun for the whole family! In the ever continuing tale of the ~Time Lord & Pure Water~
Week #1 Week #2 Week #3 Week #4 Week #5 It's ~Time~ for a Thursday progress update... I've been trying to encourage Pure Water to play and thus far it's been working with something I call the slingshot theory ... While I have been doing most of the needed boring parts of grinding, I've been keeping locked most of the real damage causing skills until she's actually playing the character for a more self dramatic impact in progress as she plays... This last weekend, we opened up the more nasty side of damage skills and she loved it ... "It's Shake & Bake Time" ... I had been only working on her blade speed and flurry before then so she could gain quickly with her "auto-swing" play style... because she doesn't like pushing allot of buttons. I'm going to stay with this program a while... I working on the hard grinding with everything else locked, while she gets the real damage gains because she say... in her words ... "I having more power!" Well... that's the update and it seems to be working because she's told me she enjoys the playing for an hour with me on the weekends Until next week's Thursday update, this has been... "How I got my GF to start playing SOTA" ... and I hope you all enjoy
