@Chris @DarkStarr @Berek Can you please add the type of ore and gem fragments to the mobs in mines.

We get a little bit of wood from mobs in sieges. Can you guys please add a little bit of ore and frags to the mobs in mines. Even with all my skills over GM for mining it is so slow to get ore. It feels like a full time job just to craft a little. If you re going to make crafters have to engage in combat in mines then we should have at least some ore and gems on the creatures in those mines. I would have always thought that at least the kobalds and eletementals would have some ore on them.

It just does not make sense the mobs don't have any ore on them.

There are mobs that drop ore, gems and gem fragments. Trolls, Dragons, Liches, and Daemons

Yes I should have been more clear I ment in the mines. It makes more sense for them to have them.

The chests in random encounters have gems, gold(currency) and scrolls. That would be a good candidate if it is already not that way.

But my point is in the mines the creatures have none at all. That just does not make sense. They tout they want things to be more realistic but the creatures in the mines as it is are to just make you fight fore nodes. thats not realistic at all. The ele's pop up out of the ground but never have any type of ore or gem on them? why? and the kobalds just walk around in the mines because they like the smell of dirt? Mining is so painful as it is. And btw many players can't solo things like troll's ect. This is about the mines that just don't make much sense and just feels like a job instead of keeping them rewarding.

Elementals should have ore drops. I find it unsatisfying that they don't.
It doesn't have to be common, but it would add flavor if it happened now and then.

Thank you. Crafters/gatherers need more to keep us having fun.

    A little bit wood?

IMO the sieges drop way too much wood.
I can heavinly farm wood with sieges now and i am way faster that way.

No need to chop on any trees anymore.

My thread on elemental loot --> here. I think they need to be unique loot based on the element.. ie sulfurous ash (fire), quartz (earth), fulgurite (air), gypsum (water).

As for kobolds and such in mines... I think it would be nice if as they start do differentiate the "supply bundles" that they not only differentiate them by player use but also by Roleplay flavor, and so give supply bundles to different mobs in different locations according to Roleplay value.

    For example,
Miner's bundle (Kobolds in mines) - Gems, Gem fragments, Ore
Herb bundle (Elf healers) - Healing reagents and potions
    Reagent bundle (Wizards) - Reagents
    Food bundle (Everyone) - Food
Cannibal's bundle (Grannus wildmen) - Cannibal food (Ladyfingers and other stuff that will gross out Bowen Bloodgood)

You can farm them without a group. way to many forget that everyone in the game can't solo everything. There is a large part of the player base who can't even kill the mobs solo. It's easy to say they drop way too much when you can do it alone. We must consider the lower level players and even new players. The entire game can not be geared to players who are at the top.

Love it! I also thought since they are made from the soil and rock from that mine some ore would be in them also. But yes I like your post. this would also give us more of a reason to go to mines with other types of ele's. We would get the ore we are looking for and some other minierals we might need. But I do think the kobalds ect should have some on them also.

i voted YES on the poll btw.

I just think the wood drops in sieges should be a little bit reduced :p

Well just think of the players who go with a group. Many of my guildies came back to the game after quitting for a while over the crafting system. They can not solo much at all. Even mining is hard for them at thier level. when they left having skills at 40 was all they needed. Now with even a small group they only get a little wood. i read all the time that things are too easy. but when you are over level 90 then yes most things will be. We must always consider and provide for the lest not just the top end player.

5 wood is to much? Anyway, you generally don't die directly from chopping on a tree.

Sieges provide a great alternative to harvesting trees, adding something similar for ore would be nice.

I hate harvesting so this is awesome. I love combat and this provides an alternative.

Earth elementals should have a random chance at some ore after death.

+100 That is beside some of the bosses and mini bosses. My point was if we are going to be in the mines and HAVE to fight for every node then give us a reward in line with what we are there for in the first place. also it just makes sense that creatures in a mine would have ore.

I've broken open the "crates" around Graff mine (exterior) and found ore... I've found many things inside crate nowadays...
