1. All post bodies concerning Shroud of the Avatar player to player transactions or services are limited to this section of the forums. Unwanted solicitation in other sections of the forums or via chat or private message is prohibited, and could result in account restriction or ban. Posting more than once per week within your own thread, "bumping" it to keep it on top, bumping within a week of the first post, and daily replacing a post with a new one is also considered spam and is therefore, prohibited. Bumping is allowed once per week, if the new post contains information that is meaningful to the original thread (i.e. price updates).

    Activities that involve real money exchanges between players are not allowed. Account transfers are not supported. Items purchased in the SotA Store, such as Pledge and Bundle Rewards, Add-Ons, Stretch-Goal items, and Player Owned Towns, as well as services that can be immediately fulfilled in-game (such as renting existing in-game property or items) are the only permitted exchanges in the Player Marketplace.

    We will not restrict exchange of goods but we will not officially endorse these exchanges due to liability issues and staffing bandwidth. No in-game or chat based real money exchanges are allowed. Exchanges are at the players own risk and governed by the Terms of Service of whatever third party platform. Catnip Games reserves the right to restrict any activities if they cause widespread issues for our community or if these activities involve exploits of any kind.

    So heres the deal:

    This is an auction. Lets let it run until Midnight, Saturday the 14th to give time for a few folks to get in on it if they want.

    So you must have all Bids placed by Saturday the 14th at 11:59PM. Server Time, so CST.

    I am Auctioning 55 Gold Crowns.

    You are buying/bidding for them with telethon items. The Telethon item DOES NOT matter,, when, how recent, how long ago, or what it is. But if it came as a set it must be a set (I.E. This would typically apply to some of the clothing sets).

    No Bid Retractions, it creates to many issues. Please be sure of your bid before you place it.

    You do not need to list the items, just the number your bidding with. So - "6 Telethon Items" would be a legitimate bid, and is all you need to do.

    Starting bid is at "5 Telethon Items".


    After the clock hits midnight (or whenever im first up after that), I will contact the winning bidder to arrange the transfer. I have very flexible hours so will not be hard to meet up with. You will get 55 Crowns, and you have to give me the winning number of telethon items.

    They can be duplicates. They could even be all the same. They could be all different, or a mix of.

    It would be 1 item, as that is how many they gave for that tier/level of the telethon as a prize item.

    So for instance, flame lamps where given as a 3 pack/set, so each 3 lamps would count as 1 telethon item. 9 lamps would count as 3.


    If anyone needs to retract their bid(s), due to this clarification, please do so right away, since there are a few days left.

    example from the r47 telethon "$50K: Ice Staff & Ice Bow"

    so this is just one item too since it is the same reward level? i hope not because i certainly can't remember stuff like that.

    Correct, since the Ice Staff & Ice bow where awarded together at one level, it would count as one telethon reward item set, for purposes of bidding.

    As a tip, What I do is since the SotA wiki search doesnt seem to work for me, I go to google and put in "sotawiki item name", and then it gives me the link on sota wiki. For the telethon items, each wiki entry then has a link to the bottom left corner that will take you to the update with the telethon update. So, for instance, to check on the bow/staff i searched on google (NOT on the wiki), "sotawiki ice staff", then went to the first result, and clicked on the Sota update the entry showed and linked to.
