2 story row housing default and planting, what?

I have a 2 story and tried to plant some cotton out front in planting bucket (not the small one) and I got a message that it was .01 success rate!

Are you freaking kidding me? How is this possible - it's outside, gets sun and won't produce anything for weeks?

This seems really unbalanced IMO.

Am I missing something here? This really P'd me off!

Right now there is no separable floor plan in such way that they can separate attributes on each floor on the row house yet.

It may come later at about the same time the room rental system is implemented.

 

Accept that when you place items outside in front then they are counted as outdoor items, not indoor items. In fact, on a row lot you are limited to 5 items and one light outside.

 

True, maybe file a bug report instead?

 

It does seem a bit wonky for sure.

Remember, the game is still in alpha as features go in, so expect unbalance. Testing and reporting bugs is why were are here. The advice above to submit a bug report seems sound.

 

I haven't tried to plaint inside upstairs - but thanks for the heads up
