2H Axe vs. 2H Hammer

Not sure if this is as intended.

The 2H axe and the 2H hammer have the exact same stats for damage and parry, plus they both have very high strength bonus. Yet, the hammer weighs 10 and the axe weighs 5. Is this correct?

If the hammer is twice as heavy, then the strength bonus might be more, but I cannot tell with a description of just 'very high'. But maybe the axe is too light? If these are pounds, then I'd say the axe is too light. If they are kilograms then the hammer is too heavy.

Either way, I think one of these might be bugged, but not sure.

 

This was brought up several releases ago as well. The only glimmer of hope was this, from one of the standup meetings...

Otherwise yeah, no-one will ever use the hammer (unless they intentionally want to carry less, just for looks)

 

It is a much prettier weapon. I will continue to carry less.
