    Greetings
I just tried this with the 2016 summer telethon version of that item and it looks like it is merging the currently worn chest piece and the music instrument or is clipping incorrectly.

@Lebu, it is normal for equipped instruments to NOT be visible in the world except when you are actively playing music, even the ones that are visible on the paperdoll like one-man-bands and bagpipes. i have confirmed it DOES show up in the world when you ARE playing.

it is also expected that the built-in clothes would conflict on the paperdoll with gear in other slots. the paperdoll shows everything that can be displayed even if it's not supposed to be shown in the world, like helms and cloaks that are being hidden by settings.

it's NOT expected that a naked chest would bleed through it like that, though. it doesn't do it when you're playing to make it show in the world, so it's only the paperdoll display that needs to be fixed. the easiest thing i can see to do here would be to make the one-man-bands NOT show on the paperdoll and only show in the actual slot, like normal instruments like harps do.
