    How come I can't place my four story Cedar Tree on my Village lot?

    I had the same problem when decorating a village lot. The tree was too wide to fit on the lot with a house on it. if the lower limbs hang over the property line, it won't let you place it. This is a problem with the cedar tree set. My 3 story tree barely fit, and only when turned a certain way. You may be running in to the same problem.
