634 Client hangs on initial scene load

    After logging in and clicking Resume (to my basement) the client will hang. I don't know how far it got because the text at the bottom of the screen is garbled. I tried this a couple of times and then tried to Start on World Map with the same result. I'm completely DIW now.

    [edit] Linux BTW.
