?A Grave Marker? at Solace Bridge

While exploring solace bridge, in the old ruins that Kiakis is wandering around in there is a pair of what look like doors at the bottom of the stairs in the water, though they can't be interacted with, at least I haven't been able to yet.

Is there a secret way to open them? Or are they just a mystery atm?

 

Those where there ever since Solace Bridge went into the game and I've never been able to open them. As far as I know, they can't be open, and I don't know if they have any plans for them.
Anyone else know for certain if they can be opened now?

Same. I've seen the doors but not opened them to date.

 

On the map that is labeled as the crypt of General Paen.

I think it would be neat to perhaps add a small scene there eventually in the crypt.

 

Did these ever get a purpose?
