    Here's a thought -- add skills (like specialization but just in the taming tree) to allow a tamer to devote his/herself to the Spirit of their choice -- or make it a few repeatable 3-day devotional type quests to accomplish the same.. that way people who really want to channel say the Spirit of a Wolf - their Lupine Destroyer will be as good as an Obsidian Destroyer.. or whatnot..
