Addon store - dear portal

i dont impulse buy. I've learned when i do that I buy stupid stuff and regret it. Lets face it, buying 1s and 0s on someone's server clearly falls in the realm of stupid to the rational mind. However, i love playing in sota and enjoy the little i have purchased a lot.
Recently items have appeared in the store and items have gone on sale that have been tempting. Then after giving sleep, consideration, and thought, returned to purchase and its gone and/or no longer on sale. $60 I avoided spending in the past two weeks because you yank things down so fast. So my wallet thanks you, but consider the age and maturity of your customer base. Im betting many, like myself, have learned not to impulse buy and need that tempting purchase to marinate a bit.

 

Can you give an example? I don't know of anything that hasn't lasted a month+. Genuinely curious.

I just remenber weekend flash sales of Bundles and houses.
Sure, it will be deliberated to give money for more expensive items.
And if the sale has gone in the moment I decided to buy - this hurts.
But I think, Portalarium will do weekend sales again and then you will get a new chance to purchase
Like the black fridays ...

 

Things are introduced to the store at 50% off and stay that way for years - you're probably thinking about one of the weekend flash sales... not to worry - it'll come around again for a telethon wheel deal or some other weekend flash sale. Easter is on the horizon - rares!

 

I tend to like the sales and if they put something up I really like I will buy right off. Of course I tend to be picky, but that's just me. I think the sales help those who are strapped for cash and it helps them get those things that they really like. Hopefully this way everyone can afford something they really like. I am more instant gratification type so often I will buy something at the store and then buy something from a in game vendor. I like to think I am supporting both the game and my wonderful community of players. Then again that's just me.

 

The impulse tends to come from calculated/anticipated sales. There are many things that I have my eyes on right now, but I'm holding back until super crazy discounts, store credit bonus, or telethon.

 

I tend to buy things that are reasonably priced. I haven't been compelled to open my wallet for quite some time.

I think my delimma is that even their sale prices seem absurd.

 

Higher POT decoration limits are needed to facilitate the need for more AOS spending.
