    Title: Aggro / Hate while harvesting - weird AI behavior

    Details:
    Expected: Enemy aggro's player on sight while harvesting, elemental attacks and wounds it - enemy switches its target to elemental.
    Actual: Enemy aggro's player on sight while harvesting, elemental attacks and wounds it - enemy continues to player location and melee attacks, interrupting harvesting.

    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6800K CPU @ 3.40GHz (12) System RAM: 32678

    @Echondas, all pets generate aggro to their owner in order to keep the owner from just permanently letting them tank everything and gather uninterrupted.

    @Alley Oop Ahh! That makes sense for balancing/bot prevention, etc.

    I was thinking the hate generated by an enemy aggroing on sight, not because a player damaged it or cast a debuff, DOT, etc - would be easily overruled by the pet doing actual damage to it.

    I imagine the hate value (per player/pet/etc.) should be weighted to favor actual damage done rather than just aggroing a passive player on sight.

    i'm not sure where he ended up balancing it; that quote was a while ago. might still be worth investigating. however, if it is still 1:1, then the behavior is correct, as the player starts with a slight head start just from having been spotted first, he keeps that slight lead since he gains at the same rate as the pet.
