    Hi,

my suggestions would be to allow locked inventory items to be placed in the crafting window. For example if you want to repair a weapon you first have to drag them to your inventory, unlock, drag to crafting window, and an important part: ... if it is now unlocked you can accidentally salvage it.
Making it possible to put locked items in the craft windows solves 2 problems this way. The hassle and the accidents. Makes sense in my opinion.

    totally counterintuitive.

You lock it so it cannot be put in the window and there accidently salvage.

That was the fix for accidently salvaging items?

They did this because it is a lot easier then trying to redo the salvage code in the crafting window.

You wanted protection / you got it / sorry have to deal with it. (maybe not you but a lot asked for protection)

Wouldn’t mind a mix of the two systems where locked items aren’t available in the Salvage or Sell list, but resources and components for further crafting could be used for crafting. Would like to see a “sell all junk” items for greys just taking up bag space like in WoW where the Locked items are safe from being accidentally sold.

These are just quality of life requests that can already be micro managed, so not of high priority.

It works exactly as intended. No need to change anything.
