Animal Charm

When I first started using Animal Charm yesterday, I could easily attack and damage the charmed animals.

But then suddenly attacking charmed animals did nothing, and using the skill basically gives them a few seconds breathing room to heal back up.

One of the two must be a bug, but I don't know which one.

Further bits:
- At first I thought it might be a day/night thing, but animals are equally unattackable at night.
- rezoning and relogging didn't bring it back to the original state.
- If the first one is a bug, I can not reproduce
- The change to not being able to attack was while in a zone, it didn't trigger on a loading screen or logon.

 

I have the same problem now too, I used it for taming, now it seems to be totally useless, cant target or tame a charmed animal :S. taming was questionable before this, but now i have to spend hours to try and stop a stupid wolf from running away when i tame it. then only to have it bug out and disappear from my whistle. fun times...
