Details: The animal spawners available from the NPC merchants are showing up in the merchants in offline mode too, at the same price as in the online game.

(1) Offline mode items are supposed to lose a zero from the price.
(2) These items can only be used by POT governors and stewards, so they're useless in offline mode.

Personally, I'd like to see all the POT-only items be usable in offline mode, so we can decorate our offline worlds (and POT owners could use it as a practice area). But since that's not happening, POT-only items should not be for sale in offline mode. Not all players will follow the news carefully and won't know that these are POT-only items, so it's a temptation for them to spend money that will be wasted and result in more disgruntlement. (The same applies to Crown Shop items -- offline mode already has a different version of the Crown Shop, so that shop should not include items like vendors that won't function offline.)

The spawners should be removed from offline mode until they can be used in basements, and then they need to lose that extra zero to conform with standard offline pricing.

Steps to Reproduce: Check the merchants above a bank in offline mode.

They will be usable in dungeons and basements soon.

 

"Soon" isn't now. And again, people who aren't following the news regularly won't know that, and it won't stop them from being upset if they waste their money.
