    Hi all,

It seems my neighbor has somehow found the secret to always having his shudders open. Every single time I come to my house, my shudders are shut, but his are always open!

Anyone able to please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    TIA.

The shutters have a default state of being open... it doesn't persist. They weren't always like that, though. Used to be they were always closed... but some building may have slipped through that change. So you might submit a bug about it, referencing which house it is.

My problem is I want my shutters to say closed!

LOL, yours won't stay closed, mine won't stay open! Wanna trade? ;)

Guess I'll have to bug it; thanks.

Lol. I'd like to remove my shutters completely.

Mine used to stay closed but now stay open which is how I like them.

It seems they close on there own on occasion, I did try "locking" them in the open position. I'm not sure if that helped or not. It is worth trying.

I just think the shudders to save whatever state you set them in.

I have a vender outside my row home. That I'd like the stand right near the window but my home has a shudder that is at an angle so I would prefer to shut it so is not clipping through his head. But there is no way to get them to stay anything but a default state.

This doesn't seem like it should be too resource intensive of a fix I would go a long way for quality of life improvements.

Also for an inhabited homes why is the default state open? Wouldn't make more sense if there is no in living in the house to have all the shutters closed.
