are you the devs happy with how i have to run up into melee range in quite a few maps to be able to tag creatures?

are you working on improving this? or is this "good enough".

i am not enjoying playing like this at the moment. i know i could go to one of the maps that work fine or hunt a mob that works fine. but we are not supposed to be limited in a sand box.

so if this is how its going to be or its going to take an extended amount of time to fix let us know. i dont want to waste my xp pool into ranged skills like this and would rather just untrain the skills and roll and dual swords man.

just a few sentences would be great to know where you stand on this issue please.

(of course i could have missed a post somewhere)

I think its meant to be like this. You have a skill that extend the range and you can craft a bow that extend the range

i think you misunderstand. i have extended range. but i have to be right on top of a mob to do inital dmg to them or its all 0's.

Same problem for mages, have to walk into melee range half the time or you nuke for 0 and mob ignores you.

It's a bug. I would suggest checking the bug forum every now and then.
