Argh my chessboard Disappeared

As you can see one of the red runner carpets have gone, I placed my chessboard on the middle carpet then both the carpet and the chessboard disappeared. Please help bring my chessboard back

I've had issues with carpets occasionally disappearing, only to discover that they reappeared on the roof.

 

Yikes, now I need a ladder and a little handy man to climb onto my roof

That is exactly what happened to me. A rug disappeared on the second floor, and then reappeared on the roof, which is the next floor up. Must be some strange bug.
