From the Release 51 Post https://docs.google.com/document/d/...FWmE0xirgFOSrV9cmcQv8_T8SbG7kdO4FxJpnal-Q/pub

    It States :
    • Armor Set Bonus: Previously, wearing a full suit of the same type of armor would give a 10% Damage Resistance bonus. For Release 51 this has been removed and instead players will gain a small (2.5%) bonus per piece of armor they wear in either the light category or heavy category. So for instance, a player who is wearing a leather torso, and cloth on all other parts would still get the bonus of roughly 12.5%. This bonus applies to the effectiveness of many of the skills in each tree.
That sounded great, all for getting bonus to wear a full set. Here came release 51, and here is a problem that been reported: https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...e-number-of-armor-pieces-is-increased.110976/
where the bonus decreased as the number of pieces worn increased!

In Release 52 the fix for that problem was to revert to the condition in release 50 where deflection simply gave a fixed damage resistance value regardless on the number of pieces worn as long as one of them is the chest piece.

Remember as stated above from Release 51 Post : "players will gain a small (2.5%) bonus per piece of armor they wear" and "This bonus applies to the effectiveness of many of the skills in each tree"

So what is it right now?
For Deflection, Absorb Impact, Hard Headed, Endurance, Knight Grace and Valiant Warden nothing happens when the number of pieces worn changes as long as you wear the chest piece. For Body Slam you get an increase in stun duration and for Glancing Blow you get an increase in damage
avoidance when you increase the number of pieces worn as long as one of them is the chest piece.

The question is, is this working as intended? Is
many of the skills means only two skills?

I just looked at the heavy armor tree, I hope someone will also look at the light armor tree and check if the Armor Set Bonus works as intended.

This need to be looked at to make sure it is as intended and it would be nice if we can get some kind of confirmation ;)
