still does not recognize i have killed them

 

Just to clarify, have you been killing skeletons and zombies?

 

I was Killing both as we passed the time to kill the zombies. only the zombies seem to add to the undead count for ashton

 

That's correct. Only zombies add to the undead count. Did you kill five of them?

 

yes killed about 20 in total it wasnt till the person who was in the party with me that entered the scene before me left did i start earning zombie kills

 

If you're doing the majority of the damage, you should be getting the kill counts. One way to test this is if when the enemy dies, you're the one who can loot the corpse. If you can't loot the corpse, that means the other person gets credit for the kill.

I suspect that may have been happening. Were you able to get the five kills eventually?

 

everyone in your party can loot the corpse. and between the two of us I was predominantly doing most of the damage to all of the damage.

As soon as the party member that entered the scene first left i started getting kills that counted for the quest but he had to leave the scene first

 

Everyone in your party should be able to loot the corpse, but if someone is not in your party, you will not get credit. This person was definitely in your party?

 

Killed at least 5 zombies and ~15 skellys. Not registering for me either.

 

I did not count how many I killed, but I killed a dozens of skeletons and zombies. I thought perhaps there where some special zombies I had to kill and not the standard ones ? Because it doesn't register.
