Title: Attempt to move planting pot cause it stuck on mouse cursor
Reproduction Rate: every time
Blocker? I have to log out or else the cursor stuck
Details: The planting pot will stuck ont he cursor when I try to put it on my house
Steps to Reproduce: Simply move a planting pot from my inventory to my house area. If I walk out of the zone, the planting will disappear until I relog.
User Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601) 64bit
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-9590 Eight-Core Processor (8) System RAM: 16284
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 GPU RAM: 4007

The effect appears to lock the game in a permanent "drag mode", jamming up further drag operations, and the "hold both buttons down to move operation".

It doesn't happen all the time though, I was able to place nine "Planting Pot" objects down on my lot.

• I placed the first eight down earlier this evening.
• When I read this report, I decided to test the issue myself, and suddenly began encountering it.
• I did place one additional pot down, after relogging to clear the mouse issues.
• Then the issue recurred.
• Once the pot is successfully placed, I don't appear to have a problem moving it around the lot.
  • Appears to be related to dragging out of inventory.

@Roycestein Kaelstrom @Duke Raas @Drake Aedus We are having difficulty reproducing this. There is a known issue of this type of problem occurring if other keys like F9 are pressed while dragging. If this issue is still observable, could you provide a step-by-step repro case for how you got it to occur? Thank you.

 

Maybe it's related to location? My house is in kiln. All I need was going into the lot zone, open inventory gump, drag planting pot from the Gump to the front yard. That's when it got stuck. If I walk out of house zone, the item will disappear.

 

Well, to add, I can consistently reproduce the following steps on my setup :

1. Relog to clear any mouse issues
2. Stand at (329.1, 85.0, -61.7)
   • In my POT, this is outside, on my Keep Lot
3. Attempt to place a pot from my primary inventory onto the ground in front of me
4. The drag issue occurs
5. Relog to clear any mouse issues
6. Move character to (340.8, 85.0, -64.7)
   • In my POT, this is inside the greenhouse, placed on my Keep Lot
7. At this location, I can freely drag/drop pots from my primary inventory onto the ground with no problems
8. Move character to (342.8, 85.0, -53.8)
   • In my POT, this is outside the greenhouse, in the same manner as the location in Step (2)
9. Attempting to place a pot from my primary inventory incurs the drag issue again
