Title: Automatic Combat Engagement Doesn’t Draw Weapon

    Reproduction Rate: 100%

    Blocker? (Yes/No/Partial) Partial

Details: When out of combat, being hit by a mob forces the player into combat, and weapon combat skills can be “used” but cannot do damage. Player must still enter combat again. Result is frantic mashing of the “z” button to figure out which mode they are in. Meanwhile, the Avatar foolishly swings their “air” weapon.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1) Have a character with a build such as a warrior with a two-handed sword.

    2) Have some skills in the deck locked such as body slam, whirlwind attack, thrust, etc.

    3) Enter a location with a mob on patrol

    4) Have weapon put away.

    5) When patrolling mob attacks, notice that combat mode is enabled.

    6) Body Slam monster, observe it doesn’t knock down the monster and no damage.

    7) Note that Body Slam is supposedly weapon agnostic, its Heavy Armor.

    8) Observe that the weapon is not in the player’s hand, but the player is posing as if there was a weapon.

    9) Attempt to use combat skills, observe if they have any effect.

    10) Use “Z” key to put away weapon, notice that the Avatar carefully attempt to put away their imaginary air-weapon.

    11) Notice that the avatar is not out of combat because they are still engaged in battle.

    12) Use “Z” key again to get back into normal combat with a real weapon.
