Banks HowTo Transfer Items?

I was testing around and put down roots in a town.

Then I went to another town, and claimed a lot in the new town

But when i go to the bank to retrieve my stuff, it still says the stuff is in the old town.

indeed, if I travel alll the way back to the old town's bank, then I can access my stuff.

other than transferring stuff manually, is there another way to make all the stuff in the bank to be accessible from another town?

 

Using a recall scroll to teleport from one town's bank to your lot in the other.

Else it's hoofing it. Alas.

 

Black Desert Online has a really neat system for this that I would LOVE if SOTA would implement. You can move items from one warehouse to another, but it costs in-game currency and takes time for it to get there.

 

Find a friend who can either stay afk at the new town or the old town. Then bind yourself onto the other side, then start the hauling. Using all STR buff glyph to help with carrying more weights if needed.

 

While I would love to see this at a minimum, the possibility of putting out a shipping contract, a la EVE Online, is one awesome possibility... especially if we can get pack animals and/or wagons to help with the movement of goods!

 

Exactly! I was expecting this.

StarCitizen will use the same system, in which the "movers" are actually quest issued out to players / NPCs to move your item from Point A to Point B

 

oh man... just not what I was hoping to hear... manually mule-ing over all the stuff inside the house to another town... even with recall scrolls (a lot of them) it will take a while -_-

 

There is a wipe in a month just leave it as it is and start over then.

 

Eventually there will be a "Magic Movers" that will allow you to move the contents of your home from place to place.

Really looking forward to that, part of the annoyance of moving is having to re-decorate everything again.

 

Also, they plan on having the ability to transfer items between banks (for a fee).

After being away for a year, I thought our map was a very large place, and I run everywhere...
The more I go places, the smaller our overland map becomes... "it's tiny!"

10 mins seems to be a rough average time it takes to go from one corner to the other if you know where you are going.

 

Maybe can your friends help?

 

Sorry but I see no reason why we don't have a networked banking system. Why should I pay to move my items from one banker to another? This pay, pay, pay is getting a bit over used.

 

All in the name of regional economy!!

 

Until its a workable solution, and doesn't impinge upon the regional economies , or immersion, or my aching pixel feet, going to be a real pain. I don't plan on moving at all once I plop down for good. Not moving is going to be more of an incentive for me.

 

I am not believing that one bit. Having a networked bank in UO never stopped it.

 

Since it takes 1500g to cross the control point via the mage and roughly 10 mins to go from one side to the other in over world. I think charging 3000g and take roughly 30 mins for the bank delivery with the total of 300-400 unit weight should be a reasonable alternative to manual hauling.
