OK, some basements need city lots other village or above. What's the difference between a stone basement and the mine basement?

There's a little cart in the mine basement? I don't even know if this actually comes with it or it's just decoration. I wonder if you can drive through the basement levels on it? :)

    Their design?

Likely just decorative...but ooh, that would be fun going down that spiral.

Well if the only difference is aesthetics I wish they would stop wasting their time and maybe like do the dukes place. Heaven knows their giving away the title fast enough.

Variety is the spice of life! I'm sure they'll get around to designing the Duke's home. Isn't that like the last one left not yet shown? Aside from waterfront properties anyhow.

yeah, it's the only pledge level that doesn't have a home.

But there are so many other things that need to be done that are more important. I realize they need money but there are other ways to attract more people. And I guess since Duke level wasn't selling they decided to give it away.

This question may have been answered already but I searched and did not find it. If I have a pledge that includes a single level basement and I buy a 2 level add on basement what do i end up with?

You end up with both. You can change what basement you are currently using in your plot. Both basement and house is choosen separately with list menu or something, of all houses + basements you own)

The impression I'm getting is, you can decorate out both basements.
and when you change basements, the other gets picked up with everything inside it.
Same way if you have multiple house options.
So, you could have a main basement you use everyday. and a second basement, setup for some use, that is more rare. (what ever that may be)
My idea, with a second basement, would be like a attic. when I get tired of a bunch of stuff around my house... pull out the storage basement, and pile the stuff inside it. Then switch back to my normal use basement.
Then, I can go get it easily, if I decide I want it back.

If you can ride the mine cart....
that would make me have to buy a second basement.
Since I already own the 5 tier stone and timber basement.
