    So I just finished reading Blade of the Avatar and have to say I was really quite surprised over how enjoyable a read it was. Granted it's no Game of Thrones, but since I started reading GoT when i was 14 and im now 35 I need books to fill the decades in which it takes SOME authors to finish their epics.

    Having vented...what did you all think? Who were some of your favorite characters? An inquiring mind is interested to know! ;)

    There weren't many characters but each was interesting in their own right.

    I'm glad the book is now becoming a trilogy.

    I am trying to hold out for my physical copy (i love laying in bed with book, cheese and wine) but it is getting increasingly difficult due to my interest in back story and lore XD

    I didn't even know it was becoming a trilogy. Very cool! Thankfully Tracy Hickman can write fairly quickly and won't leave us waiting years for the next book...hopefully!

    LOL Themo Lock, I love the lying in bed with cheese and wine! Hopefully one of those cheeses is a nice stinky blue cheese. Just a few of my favorite things in life is Cheese, Wine and Charcuterie.

    I got a tablet at Xmas so was finally able to actually read my pdf. Yeah thought it was pretty decent. A lot of things in the game make a lot more sense now. ;)

    He was told to expand the book with some more chapters before writing the other two entries in the trilogy. Read the PDF version now, and the physical version will be the expanded one. You can read that as a physical book later.
