Got up this morning and double clicked on the SOTA desktop icon.
Got the blue screen of death.
(didn't think much of it at the time) Rebooted
Successfully launched SOTA when I exited to fix breakfast got the blue screen of death again.
After breakfast double clicked on icon and again blue screen of death
    (now I'm concerned)
Ran a couple diagnostic tests on pc and came back clean
    Then successfully launched SOTA.
Don't know if it's my pc or the game but just started today and only when involving SOTA

this evening while trying to launch SOTA I'm getting a steam error
    "Steam - Error
An error occurred while updating Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues (app running)
See the Steam support site for more information"

Try doing the verify integrity option in steam for the game and maybe give that a try?

I rebooted and got in. I've been having a heck of a time getting in today but once in seems to play ok. Firefox, office, thunderbird... all running np, just steam and/or SOTA.

Also I was reading in steam about the error said one probably cause is not shutting down properly. Crashing when exited early afternoon - was that the cause? I have faith in the P team.

Blue Screen are most times not a program related issue, you could have had a few sector corrupted, Mine was a video card issue long ago.

You really need to get the Blue Screen Error Message, they all show a line or two with what is causing them, then you can "Google" that specific message.
