Bodyslam is broken for me

When I try to body slam it does no work.

On my screen, i just run in place as if I cannot get to the object. On other people's screens i just stand still. My statistics state "You hit nothing! (Body Slam)

Do you have a target selected?

I didn't see a problem using it on a wolf?

So when that happens to me it is when there is a root working on me. For example, attempting to body slam a ferocious red spider while webbed nets me running in place. Break the root and then perform another body slam.

Nope, same for me now, it was working until 885, on two separate characters with different equipment.

 

Is the new Spider Silk Belt that's doing it.

 

Yeah that's definitely the cause. With my SS Sash I can slam stuff just fine.

 

Suspect shield charge is in the same boat. Verified that both work without the sash. Suspect there needs to be a better tell that the root chance has taken effect.
