    Hello devs, in my perception,

    • can you add the ability to loot the dead players.
    • can you add more pvp motivation (loot, xp, zones and more)

Just my opinion but having someone take my stuff is not motivation to PvP.

It is just the opposite for me. Can lose my equipment scares me and it's very motivating to fight well and play a game.

Check out the PvP forum for a recent post of mine suggesting PvP needs to get away from the idea of full looting and create more realistic reasons to fight such as resource control and player created political system. I think it is reasonable to be able to loot something that will slow a person down from getting back into battle such as weapons, regs, or arrows but the idea of full loot is not that big of a deal. Any hardcore PvPer is going to use weapons and gear that is easy to replace as I did in UO and I had 5 houses full of useless loot I took from the people I killed. It is just worthless and not very meaningful anymore.

I am all for (some kind of) loot.
Jschoice idea is pretty good btw, read it up, I am sure you will like it.
Beside that: NO XP incentive for pvp please. That never ends well.

LOL you are right, it is the total opposite, taking ones gear and or stuff when dead makes me not want to even try PVP..... especially when crafted gear etc takes some time to make .... you don't want to go thru all that trouble and time put into it, just to lose it .... There must be other options or rewards for defeating some one, other then their loot. In LoTR when you killed other players (Monsters or the humans depending what side you were on) (Monster play) you got unique coins that was only usuable in the PVP zone for special stuff that was only usuable in PVP zones bought from venders in the PVP area ... These things were rendered useless in the PVE part of the world, worked out great.... I am not a hardcore PVP'er, just like to try it out now and then when bored ..... or if PVP involved actually taking and or defending something... and not just mindless killing.... WOuld try PVP if it was to defend a city or town .... or simular ...
