So Brittany is all cool and froody and very well done.
But do i get that right that all parts of Brittany have waterlots?
And that of thos waterlots only 5 are city sized?
The number seems.... a bit low. Exspecially if it is about the wharfs, were i think the pledge level ships would look best.

I don't think that Britanny Estates will have any water lots.

My expectation is that it will be lakefront.

The shardfalls caused huge tidal waves leaving ships all over the place.

Could be a lock system between the harbor and the lake.

I'm personally bothered by all the water lots having placeholders. Especially since those placeholders look just like my lord houseboat. I don't imagine most water lots will get filled given the limited number of people that can claim them. If I decide to place my houseboat there I don't wanna be in a sea of empty clones :-/.

I agree... the islands off of Kingsport are mostly water lots and those did not have water lot placeholders. It takes away from the view without a purpose.

It's the same way the ship gets into the bottle.
    It was assembled there.

In the old days they did have techniques to haul ships overland (using rolling logs as a platform and a cradle harness to keep the ship upright and spread the weight off the keel).
However the wear and tear of bouncing a ship overland, and the length of time it took, plus the grade of terrain encountered, and the narrowness of paths. (e.g. width of horses) made it very rare, except for the shortest possible trips.
It was simpler to just build a new ship at the new location, since trees were almost always in abundance, and any ship that had journeyed overland would need to be repaired and re-pitched when it arrived.
