BUG?-Did ignite weapon stop stacking? or has it never stacked?

Same bonus and time length whether I single cast or five stack it. Have I just not noticed it has never stacked? I thought it used to.

 

It might have once, but it hasn't for a while. I wish they would make stacking useful on glyphs that currently get no benefit from it, for consistency. At the very least, let the duration increase, if not the strength.

 

Well I guess the question is....was this intended?

 

When it comes to buffs I feel like stacking is just a chore, not a feature. For abilities where there are benefits to firing them off multiple times in rapid succession or stacking them into a single powerful spell it makes sense to have the stacking mechanic, but for abilities with a significant duration where you're always going to want the most powerful version it can be it doesn't seem like the mechanic really adds anything to the game.

 

Still let me rephrase again, is this a bug? did it work before and not now, and/or did the devs change it on purpose? I am good with an answer in either way because I simply the answer will let me know how to change my tactics or pursue a bug report. Thanks
