Unlike a number of other spells (healing, dash, sprint, etc) if you cast douse while under attack, but with your weapon put away, the game will pull your weapon back out. This seems to be incorrect behavior.

that is correct for how it's flagged: it's a combat spell. the test is to see if you can put it on your non-combat bar. for the others listed, you can; for douse, you can't.

whether douse SHOULD be flagged as a combat spell is another question. not sure how having a two-handed sword in my hand is gonna help me dump a bucket of water on myself.

Yeah, I think it's incorrect as a combat spell. ;) Guess we'll see what the devs say. :)

Well considering it is a combat spell and has to go on you combat bar, yeah you have to draw your weapon to cast it :-(

sorry you don't think so been this way for a while.

    Deff not a bug

BTW the bug is that when put into combat because you are forced to be engaged in combat is the game is not drawing your weapon, you have to hit z to bring out your weapon.

It's primarily a buff, like celestial blessing, str, etc. Which is why it stands out as an oddity.

That's curious... I find no way to inflict damage with it.
