[By design] My Founders Chest Mimic does not work

Someone said it may have died...Ive been out o f game for a long time it used to be a simple thing to get him out to follow me arround but now I cant get him back..even have him equipped. Help?

 

does the mouseover for the whistle say it's resurrectable?

 

Ahh yes it does say reserectable guess Ill have to get a scroll or something to resurect creature, I dont recall having to do that before but the game has changed a lot. thanks.

Not exactly... My mimic wasnt dead when I took a hiatus from the game, and now there doesnt appear to be a way to get it back without training up to a high level on the trainer skill tree to get it back. Ive looked around for scrolls for this creature resurrection spell with no luck. Im kind of sad that The Founders (or was it a Benefactors) Chest Mimic really can't be taken out for fear of it being killed with no way to res it short of a high level spell. I mean its not as if It was a Powerful Force to start with, it was just a cute fun thing to have tagging along with you.

 

Yes, you will need a pet rez to bring him back to life. The mechanics changed for this pet since you were away...I'm sorry for the confusion.

 

BUT, the remaining question is.....is there such a thing as a scroll or item to do that or is it strictly limited and dependent on me to raise that skill branch to eventually get the Creature Resurrect spell on my tool bar?

 

you have to raise the skill. it may be possible to trade the item to someone who already has the spell and have them cast it, but i honestly don't know if that would remember its state.

 

thanks...this is going to be painful I can tell *sigh* seems like pets arent such a cool thing.

 

maybe not, if @Lexie can confirm that the whistle can be traded without messing up the rezzing process.
