Can we do something about Obsidian Armor and Chips Weight ?

Few weeks ago was planning to make some obsidian armor , bought some chips and started doing the math on what i need for about 8-10 obsidian plate chests ..i start buying coal load everything on me and could barely move ... i was like 8k weight . Seriously how am i suppose to get all the way to the obsidian forge kill everything there survive the respawn with 8k weight on me ???

Or perhaps the system is made so we '' share '' the load with party members ? Just give stuff to everyone to carry and pray for the best ?

Hope you will reconsider the weight issues and make it easier for people to craft obsidian stuff... 10 obisidan chests need so much haul... and its not even that great armor ( debatable of course).

 

I think you were intended to go with a party just for fighting to keep baddies away from the forge. The weight problem may be due to when they changed it from 100 chips per ingot to 300 per ingot, and that was after people complained when they wanted it to be 1000 per ingot. So now you have to have so many more chips just to make ingots.

 

Oh man... I never thought about how much weight that's all going to take...

I just want to spit out a handful of Obsidian Swords, since it MIGHT help me fight Obsidians a spot better with that special damage bonus.

 

It was also (most likely) never intended to be mass produced.

 

Mass production means making 100 + chests not 10 chests .

 

@Bzus can weight issue for chips be adressed ?
