Cannot launch patcher for dev+ while playing live.

    I cannot launch the patcher for dev+ while playing the live server.


    I used to be able to patch QA/dev+ (which takes forever and a day sometimes) while playing the live release, now if I'm playing the live release (either through the launcher, or through steam) the patcher for dev+ cannot run stating "ERROR DURING UPDATE A game instance is currently running. Please close it and try again."

    huh. i didn't think to try that previously, when it worked. i am downloading the patches with a torrent application while playing live.

    Downloading dev+ patches is actually pretty quick for me (when I looked I think it was 12MB a second) but the patching process is slow slow slow.
