cant hang yule stockings on basement wall

    Details: ok so not being able to put the yule stocking in my yule storage container (as i guess they are containers also) I should at least be able to hang them on the wall in my basement storage area. But they won't hang on the basement wall so I'm FORCED to put them in my bank since I cant store them anywhere else and I'm not planning on having yule stockings out as deco all year round! please help!

    Steps to Reproduce: tried hanging stocking in basement in various locations
