Castle Atos´s cooks need a direct passageway from the kitchen to the dining hall. Currently they would have to go around the stable, through the inner gate and back to the dining hall.

If a - in cases of war blockable by a heavy wooden door - passageway would be added at the southern wall of the kitchen it could go below the magic merchants tower to the dining hall. Just for practical reasons...

Probably designed by someone who does not cook for friends.

Thanks for the feedback! I think the lack of direct path is because the dining hall was intended more for players and player events rather than for NPCs, but it's an interesting point. I took a glance at how the area was constructed and it won't be easy for make a direct path as you suggest, but I'll save the idea in my to-do list. Issue #70886

If the area in between (the basement of the tower where the magic merchant is above) allows no passageway to pass through, simply put a one-way teleporter on the wall of the place where my character stands and on the wall of the dining hall.

You think a simple cook could afford to install a teleporter? Sheesh! Most of the people in this community can't even afford doors!

But even if we can't buy doors, luckily we now have a fancy place to poop :D

Well, no. I would think the Castle´s Lord who cherishes the master cooks excellent food, would be paying for it, to get the food on his table or that of his guests
    a) still hot and
    b) without the smell of having been transported alongside the horse stables...

Mmmh, unless - are horses skinnable and produce meat ingame yet? :D

And I meant a "teleporter" as a trick to avoid the problem you mentioned of being able to draw a ling of a passageway between kitchen and dining hall, but ingame simply representing the passageway.

i wouldn't assume that the kitchen that supplies the tavern is the same kitchen that provides the banquet hall. all the banquet hall needs is a door the avatar can't open, maybe with a sign that says "kitchens"

Was there again, not expecting anything. Saw lever and was overwhelmed by the secret passageway used as kitchen storage. :thumbs up:
