    Ty - the Focus Cap reduction, it TOTALLY fixed the focus lost issue, very well done now only have to deal with a little less focus overall but can deal with it easily.

    Just need to work on resource gathering for the collars and special collars for different critters;

    These are my suggestions for what is should take to make certain colllars

    - String / Leather = Cat / Dog
    - String = Chicken
    - Leather = Pig
    - Leather with Iron Buckle = Stags

    - Hard Leather, Gold Buckle, Silver Inlays, Onyx Gem, Diamond = Obsidian Bear

    The mats required are actually a royal PITA.

    Huge grind / time sink.

    I agree with Coolwaters, that's why I don't bother with the taming skills, I don't have the patience to make all that you need. I prefer having to just make the dang collar to tame a pet, and when you tame it... it's yours....

    Same here, I'm just not interested in this sort of taming system. I loved taming in UO, you tame a pet, keep it fed, were able to resurrect and heal it. I like having a pet you can keep, and having a collection of them. The system in SOTA is too grindy for me.

    All they did was ad a tool to tame and a tool to control inventory, to much reaching and looking for the bad. You will have to train, heal and maintain them. As for required resources, that is why thre will be a Market for resources and items and pets, to appease al the players who just want to play their style and be able to buy what the want.

    I also think the Focus change has certainly improved taming.

    As a side note# I'd like to see tamed creatures with random stats. For instance one bear may be stronger than another bear or one might have less strength but greater hit points. I'm not a big fan of every bear in the world being an identical clone. I also think that having the stats be random, you might actually keep looking for the next best thing, rather than just taming something and then never having a reason to tame another.

    I was able to pick off the Kobalds and Satyrs near the Faun in the Gem mines. I was disappointed in not being able to tame a Faun. How cool would that be, a pet that could heal. Also I thought Fauns ran away when Satyre is killed. They do not but do keep on healing other mobs, ie Kobalds.
