Details: I've had this a few times and I'm not sure why it happens - but I think it's related to one of my other bug posts where I would get stuck on the overland map near owls head and my character wouldn't move at all...the reason I think this is related is because I can stand there for a 20 seconds or so, then my characters gets 'unstuck' and all I recall doing is waiting...this time it happened when I entered deep ravenswood. Upon entering the zone my character was stuck in the same spot. Couldn't move at all. Not a big deal for PvE characters but if I was a PvP toon and enemies were near I'd be toast. I waited a bit and I was able to move around again.

How regularly does this happen? Is it a random occurrence?

 

it's only happened about 3-4 times total... I'm on a new PC now so I'll be curious to see if it happens again. might be video card related?

 

This isn't due to the keyboard not working after entering a scene, correct? I have that issue every now and then but thought that it was just my system. I would go into a scene and nothing would register on my keyboard so I could not move. Re-logging always fixed this though.

For me it occurs fairly infrequently (maybe 1/100 scene transitions).

 

I've been observing a similar behavior (unresponsive keyboard after loading a scene) and, in my case, it's always related with changing windows via alt + tab while the loading takes place. It doesn't happen always (and i do change windows almost everytime a loading screen pops up). but i'd bet it's related with Ancev and Sara situation (that's why i'm posting it here). So using the official format:
Reproduction rate: below 5%
Details: keyboard not working after changing windows during a loading screen. The mouse is still responsive.
Steps to reproduce:
1.- Cause a loading screen by changing scenes.
2.- Change windows when you cause the scene changing, as in "well let's check an email while it loads". Not sure if the timing is related with the issue.
3.- Change back to the game after a while as in "ok it should've loaded already let's resume playing". Once again, not sure if timing is related with the issue.

Ah! worth saying I'm using windows 7 so it's not OS related.

Ok this happened again - I entered ardoris and became stuck at the entrance. Keyboard was unresponsive for movement and activating skills on the deck but I was able to chat in the chat window. I tabbed to a web browser and back to the game and it fixed itself
