chat log file

Hello,

I have see a a video to disply stat of char and the person use the command
/stats
but now I have tested and the message displayed inside the chat is:
"recording stats to chat log file"
I have two question:
- Can we display the stat in chat ?
- Where is the chat log file ?

Added: I use Steam version and standard launcher also.

1st question -> they used to, it was ugly and just a wall of text because chat doesn't parse in-line returns
2nd question -> They are stored in %APPDATA%\Portalarium\Shroud of the Avatar\ChatLogs

so to check my char lvl I need to go %APPDATA%\Portalarium\Shroud of the Avatar\ChatLogs everytime?

Does anyone know where the file is located on a mac? I searched around, but couldn't find it.
