Controls changed - why?

Just want to know if this is a bug or something else I have to get used to.

I had just managed to gain some dexterity with the WASD keys; I could run back and forth, slashing at opponents. Run through them, slash, and run back. The S key would turn my avatar and have him run back towards me - handy for getting behind an opponent. If I REALLY want to walk backwards, it's R-click/S.

Now that has gone. The S key ONLY allows me to walk backwards. Meaning I can get behind the opponent, walk backwards and slash the air in front of me (he's still behind you stupid!)

To be facing him there is another movement - turn the camera with the mouse. Adds time and gives the opponent time to turn around.

Please tell me this is a bug!
