I know there are already lots of posts on the subject, but I'd like to revisit the question of dialogs and conversations in SOTA. Using the keyboard is an excellent and immersive way to speak.

However, I see two issues with it :
    - This system is not ergonomic, especially when it comes to contact an individual in a crowd,
    - Some fanciful answers we give to NPCs' questions cause illogical reactions, as it is impossible for developers to predict what a player will say.

I wonder if you should provide some role for the mouse.

    For exemple :
    - In Ultima 7/8, to start a conversation with someone, it was enough to click on the person ; it's fast and efficient.
    - One could also imagine that when NPCs question us (and only in this case), a drop-down menu proposes several possible attitudes (provocation, lie, ignore, etc ...). With this, developpers could imagine logical scripted reactions for NPCs.

I agree on the part when in a crowd it is very difficult to read all the text as it was flying by.
