Corpse Explosion does no damage

Me2 It's my only real good spell lol. Been focus training it since launch

Death Field is at least keeping me alive for the big mob pulls. Definitely playing the battle of attrition vs nuking now

 

Is there any update on this issue?

Glad to see this is reported still didn't work for me last night in Deep Ravenswood, Nightshade pass, Hilt, or Eastridge Gap. On all mob types, gfx animation works but mobs lose no health.

 

This may be tied to the Explosion potion not inflicting damage too. Perhaps environment damage was broken since I have a feeling it is applied differently.


Any update on rolling back this 'fix' @Attenwood ?


Edit: guess it didn't make the latest build. Anyone on the dev server?

Just tested corpse explosion. It still doesn't work. It appears to have been worked on though. It now shows no damage numbers and has a lower range.

Any information you can provide here? Can @Chris maybe explain what's going on? Why we're waiting indefinitely for a fix?

 

Shux, another micropatch today. Had my hopes up

 

From the patch notes:

• Changed the way we execute corpse explosion.

No idea what that means.

 

I'd still rather have the old bug ><

 

Ok, after trying again it appears to work. I'm not sure what happen the last time I was trying it. I'll report back here if I have more trouble.

 

Verified it does damage now. Not sure why the diameter was nerfed from 5 down to 3. :/


Also the glyph tooltip does not show damage range.

 

How is this still broken? This only hits 1 mob when you execute the attack????
