Corpse In Leash Mode Slides Across Landscape

I was in Deep Ravenswood this evening and came across a red spider taking out a doe. The doe apparently was entering leash mode when the spider hit it with a web. The spider killed the doe while the web was in effect. When it dissipated, the doe's corpse slid across the terrain to its home spot.

I just observed something similar in North Brightbone Woods.

After fighting a Large Timber Wolf, it became a Large Timber Wolf Corpse, as they do.

However, the corpse kept attacking and could not be damaged, targeted, or engaged with auto-attack.

While retreating, the corpse slid after me in its death pose, until it was within attack range, where it would spring up and attack.

Sleeping with the lights on tonight.
