Crafting System Feedback - Quantities & Searching

There are several things that I think could lessen some of the pain while crafting:

1. Batch crafting shouldn't be limited to 20. If I'm going to be forced to spend 20 minutes (or more) refining large batches of resources , it would be nice if I could just surf the internet while I'm waiting (or I'd be super happy to hear that skill level will later impact speed in production). This may be a performance thing, but if there is a way to increase this number....it would make my time crafting much more enjoyable.

2. Recipes don't tell you how many of an item they yield. For example, maple bindings require 2x maple timber and 1x wax. The recipe yields 4x maple bindings. It's not an item I craft on a regular basis. So before I load up my bags and trudge off to a set of crafting tables, it would be nice to be able to properly estimate the things I need.

3. We still really really really need a search function for our recipe books. We also need to be able to organize our recipe books in an order that makes sense. Having items load into your book in the order you've learned them vs. an alphabetical order makes searching for the correct recipe annoying, at best.

I agree with the basics of all of your points.

 

I agree with all these points, but for me #2 is the biggest pain.

 

#3 is a pain especially when you're trying to train someone on a recipe you have. Sometimes they don't make sense (some trophies are carpentry, some tanning, some something else I forget).

Something I was thinking of the other night is it would be great to have a check box that said "only show recipes I have all ingredients for" or similar. In other words, it hides anything you cannot immediately craft.
