crafting tables are acting up

Its not just me but others as well when i click on a crafting table and double click or click the recipe it loads the stuff into the window....but upon execution gives an error that it doesnt work. Not sure whats going on. I am having to manually put the items in the window then click to make them.

Not sure if it truly is me or not. I tried on expert table and regular...both gave me the same message.
And i am not very good at reporting bugs....so was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem
