Crafting time extended.

I am trying to build a new piece of armor.
I need new recipes for it.
I go to acquire said recipes.
By the time I manage to look in four different cities, and talk to a dozen different vendors. (none of whom understand what I am saying) I have spent my hour and a half of game time I set for crafting.

I am OK with the whole buy recipes thing (I guess).
However in my search for recipes, I was stymied at every turn.
What I am asking for is this.
Have vendors involved in crafting and selling recipes actual interact with us.
With real "knowledge" of who and where their colleagues are, and maybe even what they sell.

I know the game isn't done yet.
But maybe just maybe this type of polish could go in before the mechanics that make it necessary?
