Crafting Zones in houses

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but it would be awesome to have crafting zones in houses. Not sure how it could work with game system, but ideally if you're in your house, crafting menus could pick up the contents of nearby containers in and pull supplies from them for crafting.

Preferably it would return tools to their original container and only add the crafted item to your inventory (unless a stack exists in the vicinity to which it could be added).
