a 10 second burst of speed and 1 minute cooldown?

    "come on man"-Keyshawn

i'm back to entering combat mode just so i can dash through town. I don't feel this should work like this, the cool downs on the heals i have seem reasonable, this one does not.

First of all, Chris Carter does the best "Come on, man", not Keyshawn. Secondly, Ed Lover claims Chris Carter stole it from him. But seriously, come on, man.

As for dashing through town, I don't understand why people need to use this for basic transportation. It's supposed to be a combat skill, not a casual play skill. Let's keep our shirts on here...

its a utility spell, yeah, i disagree with your assesment, my shirts still off:p , i dont understand why the sentiment in gaming has become to remove as much control from the player as possible ....

    come on man! lol :p

The player still has total control. You can use dash right now to move through town a little faster, or you can use it when you really need it - to get away from something.

Tbh I'm not a huge fan of cooldowns, I prefer mana to be the controlling factor.

perhaps light should also last 10 seconds and have a 1 min cooldown? for comparison .....

Yup using them out of combat works now as it works in Locked Decks. So imagine how helpful are them for Locked Deck users.........pretty worthless.
At least with R18 changes you can switch to a custom scape Dynamic Deck.

The fact that you don't see it useful doesn't mean others think like you.
In fact , did you know you can place them in non combat bar?, OP complain is fair here.

I think the light spell is overused. Why do people need torches? It's something that needs balanced.

It's not that I don't see how useful it is...I'm saying it should be balanced in a way that makes sense so that people are not using Dash to sprint from the trainer down the street to the public vendor. It's primarily a combat skill.

Here's a thought though, if the devs just made everything cost reagents then maybe we could have nice things like this because it would at least cost something instead of just being an overused exploit of convenience?

Double tap the W key (hold it down on the second press) to sprint. It uses focus until you run out then you jog again.
