dead men walking

several times last night, in several scenes, a party member would die without losing all their health. to the rest of us, they appeared normal except that they had corpse next to their name. to them, however, they were ghosts (although one mentioned being able to sumon his chest mimic, so maybe ghosts with skill bars?). ankhs would not work for them.

the solution was to have them duel someone living, who would proceed to kill them the rest of the way. then the ankh could be used.

I just had something similar happen. I may have died all the way but my combat bar was still cycling through glyphs and I could use the skills but I was a ghost. The ankh didn't work but when I left the scene I was alive again.

 

We have isolated a reproduction case for this issue that has been infrequently reported for the past several releases. We're excited to put it to bed, once and for all. Thanks for the report!
